Pharmacist brief

Read like a clinician, not a marketer.

The four blocks below reproduce what the pharmacist writes on the brief — strain designation, citation trail, narrative rationale, and the lane boundaries CounterStrike is honest about. The gut microbiome is the woman’s-body anchor for cycle resilience — printed here at the panel-published multi-strain dose window.

Pharmacist rationale

Why this strain, this dose, this panel.

CounterStrike is panel-honest at the human-trial window. Seven organisms, each with a strain designation the literature actually anchors to, each at the CFU its evidence used, each sequenced at all seven loci on every lot. We are not inventing novelty — we are selecting the strains the trials ran on, holding the panel-printed CFU to the published dose window, and not stacking above it. Daily GI foundation is the everyday seeding that holds cycle resilience in place.

Story behind the SKU

Why this stack and these doses

The GI microbiome lane is roomy, and most multi-strain products paper over the seams: high-dose blends that crowd out the trial-tested windows, unspecified CFU, no designations, no lot-level sequence verification. We do not do any of that. CounterStrike is printed in seven organisms, each with its designation, each at the CFU its human evidence used — L. paracasei UALpc-04, B. lactis UABla-12, L. acidophilus UALa-01, L. plantarum UALp-05, S. boulardii Lynside®, B. bifidum UABb-10, L. rhamnosus GG. Five Lactobacillus, two Bifidobacterium, one yeast. The reason the stack is wide is that daily GI foundation has to hold cycle resilience, immune groundedness, and the gut-whole-body axis in place — single-strain narrow-dose products answer a narrower question than daily foundation does.

Twenty-two billion CFU per capsule at the time of manufacture is the working window for the L. rhamnosus GG AAD meta-analysis, the broader probiotic AAD meta-analysis, and the multi-strain yeast-inclusive AAD systematic review we anchor to. We do not stack the dose higher; no published dose-response analysis shows additional benefit above this window for the GI foundation lane, and stacking above it has not been evaluated for tolerability.

S. boulardii is in there on purpose — it is a yeast, not a bacterium, and the AAD literature treats it as its own category with a separate dose window. Mixing doses across kingdoms the way most blends do is not the move; printing each organism's dose on the panel is.

What it is for

CounterStrike is the lane-defining SKU for daily GI foundation — the microbiome / immune / digestive axes the panel names on the formula actually supports, and the layer the rest of the body’s resilience leans on. It is, line by line, the structure-function brief: the formula's normal dietary contribution to a healthy gut microbiome, the normal contribution to a healthy inflammatory response, and the normal contribution to immune and digestive function. One capsule, once a day, on the panel-printed CFU window — not stacked above it. Deliberate seeding, every day, of the gut ecology that holds the cycle arc in place.

CounterStrike is NOT the right answer for vaginal sovereignty or the perimenopausal cycle-shift arc — Sovereign V is. Sovereign V is the multi-strain vaginal-and-gut formula for deliberate re-seeding of the vulvovaginal microbiome; CounterStrike is the multi-genus moderate-dose daily GI layer that sits beside it. CounterStrike is NOT the right answer for metabolic, insulin, or long-horizon cycle-shift work — Engine of Change is.

The bar on the panel names exactly what it can and cannot do. We do not make disease claims; the pharmacist will tell you so on purpose.

How we verify each lot

  • Whole-genome sequencing at all seven strain loci (UALpc-04 / UABla-12 / UALa-01 / UALp-05 / Lynside® / UABb-10 / LGG) on every batch. Every sequence is checked against the strain-reference panel — drift is a fail.
  • CFU plate count per organism at the moment of fill, printed on the bottle. The total CFU is the sum of the seven per-organism counts, not an aggregate.
  • Acid- and bile-tolerance assays on the four Lactobacillus strains — they must survive the upper-GI transit the GI literature assumes.
  • Yeast viability / heat-tolerance on the S. boulardii organism — it must arrive live and survive at room-temperature storage the way the human-trial formulation did.

Strain-specific bibliographies (per UALpc-04, UABla-12, UALa-01, UALp-05, Lynside® strain, UABb-10) are layered in by the clinical pharmacist in a follow-up commit. None of these methods are proprietary.

When CounterStrike is the wrong choice

If the goal is vaginal sovereignty, perimenopausal microbial balance, or the deliberate re-seeding of the vulvovaginal microbiome, Sovereign V is the SKU — a nine-species multi-genus vaginal-and-gut stack printed on its own panel at its own dose window. If the goal is long-horizon metabolic, insulin, or cycle-shift support, Engine of Change is the SKU. CounterStrike is the seven-strain multi-genus daily GI foundation — the everyday cycle anchor — and it does not substitute for what Sovereign V or Engine of Change do better. The pharmacist will tell you so.
